Maybach Motors: More Than One Hundred Years of Excellence


Some of the most distinguished vehicles ever have been attributed to Maybach, and it all started with Wilhelm Maybach, who designed the fabled Opus No. 1.  During the 1920’s and 1930’s, when class was king, Maybach’s designs graced the boulevards of top cities like Berlin, Monte Carlo, and New York, Los Angeles, and Paris.  While the ravages of war put an end to Maybach production for a time, the brand has returned.  Alive and well in the 21st century, these beautiful and distinguished automobiles are a favorite among auto enthusiasts of every stripe.

The 2011 Maybach 62 is a step up from the Maybach 57 S, while the 2011 Maybach Landaulet Convertible, priced beginning at $1,380,000.00 is without a doubt one of the most luxurious vehicles available today.  With four doors and a 5 speed automatic transmission, plus a 6.0 Liter V12, 620 hp, 738 lb-ft engine, it is clearly capable of competing with Rolls Royce and Bentley models in the same class.
